The GENESIS Underwater Housing for Sony NEX-FS100U Camcorder from Amphibico is a durable underwater case enabling you to shoot beneath the water's surface with your Sony NEX-FS100U NXCAM HD camcorder. It has a depth rating of 300' (91.4 m). The housing's 14 electronic push-button controls provide access to all camcorder functions. Controls include Control Panel for menu access, Manual Focus, Manual Zoom knob, Manual White Balance, Manual Iris, Manual Gain, and Manual Shutter Speed. The housing has dual grips with electronic controls. There is also a hydrophone for recording audio underwater, and a moisture sensor alarm that alerts you when water makes its way past the O-ring seal. A tally light flashes green during video recording.
The GENESIS is precision-machined from a solid block of polyurethane-coated marine grade aluminum, anodized for corrosion resistance. It's also equipped with stainless steel hardware. The housing features an interchangeable bayonet lens port system to accommodate the Sony FS100U's interchangeable E-mount lens system. A variety of lenses from numerous manufacturers, including Sony, Zeiss, Tamron, Sigma and Cosina, are available.
