The IdeaPad Y580 2099-42U 15.6" Notebook Computer (Gray) from Lenovo features a metal cool-touch cover lid and palm rests so you won't have to feel the heat emitted from inside the computer. This allows you have a more comfortable typing and computing experience.
The 15.6" Full HD display is backlit with LED lamps, which are more energy efficient than their CCFL counterparts. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and the 1920 x 1080 native resolution is supported by a dedicated nVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M graphics card with 2GB of dedicated memory.
The system is powered by a quad-core Ivy Bridge 2.3GHz Intel Core i7-3610QM processor. It also has 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a Blu-ray burner, 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an integrated webcam and microphone.
