Broke into pieces while attached to the camera with a UV filter and lens cap attached. Poor quality item.

Used it for a couple of months and yesterday it fell off the camera onto a tile floor. Fortunately it was my Polaroid 10x close-up lens that was attached and that is as thick as a coke bottle so no damage was done to the lens but the adapter was cracked and will no longer stay on the camera or hold a filter. The filters are hard to screw into the plastic threads and some filters seem to be harder to thread than others. I bought this because it was a bit cheaper than the Canon alternative. This time I will buy the Canon adapter and hope I have better luck. I wish these things were made of metal. But the lens barrel of the G1 X is plastic itself..
