Very solid feeling connector. Comes in it's own small sealed plastic bag. Comes in two pieces, the jack and and the wire cover. The cover screws over the cables into the jack. Very sturdy. It is all white, more like silver white. Not blue. The picture makes it look like a light blue color. Not the case on mine. It's pure silver, just like an american nickel's or quarter's silver color. The connector is very pretty.
