The Satellite S855-S5382 15.6" Notebook Computer from Toshiba delivers performance and portability into one package. It has a 15.6" TruBrite display with a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, which is also the standard for HDTVs. The screen is also backlit with LED lamps, which use less power and provide better picture quality than their CCFL counterparts. The 1366 x 768 native resolution is powered by an AMD Radeon HD 7670M graphics card with 2GB of discrete memory.
This ASUS computer features the Windows 8 operating system. With a redesigned Start screen and an emphasis on tiles that update real-time and multi-touch gesture support, Windows 8 provides a unique user experience.
The system is powered by a quad-core Ivy Bridge 2.4GHz Intel Core i7-3630QM processor. It also has 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, a Blu-ray player with DVD burning capabilities, a 6-in-1 media card reader, 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an integrated webcam and microphone.
