The 256GB V4 SSD 2.5" Solid State Internal Drive from Crucial is an internal storage solution that holds 256GB of data. It has been designed for use with computer systems built before 2011. Since many systems built before 2011 have slower data transfer rates than systems built in 2011 and beyond, Crucial has designed this drive to work within the limits of older systems. Like other solid state drives, this SSD features no moving parts, providing quiet, cool, and durable storage.
In terms of processing capabilities, this drive offers a sequential read speed of up to 230MB/s and a sequential write speed of up to 190MB/s. It offers a random read speed of up to 10,000 IOPS and a write speed of up to 4,000 IOPS.
The drive connects to your computer's 3Gbps SATA drive interface, fits in a 2.5" drive bay that supports drives with a 9mm height, and is compatible with PC and Mac computers.
