The AJA HD10C2 HD/SD-SDI to Analog 10-Bit HD Converter converts an SDI input to Component, Composite or Y/C via a 3-BNC breakout cable or to VGA via a VGA adapter. The cable and adapter are included. They connect into the converter's output port, a D-sub port.
Via an 8-switch dipswitch, accessible through a cut-out on the bottom of the converter, you get to choose what kind of output you want the BNCs to serve as. If your input is HD-SDI, then you can choose to output full bandwidth HD by Component or VGA, in up to 1080i/60. VGA normally doesn't support HD, but the converter features HD VGA Mode, which supports RGBHV video. If you're inputting SD-SDI, you can select to output by Component or Composite. The SDI input supports both HD and SD and automatically recognizes which of the two is connected. Linked to the SDI input are two SDI loop-outputs with cable equalization.
The dipswitch also controls video sync and graticule.
