I have two of these and use them with 60" Photoflex convertible umbrellas, Nikon SB-800 flash units and on various light stands. The included cold shoes are useless with the SB-800 flash though; my only reason for 4 stars. I had to replace them so I selected Stroboframe's Flash Mount Adapters (B&H# STFMS) and they are excellent. When using just two strobes I mount them both upside-down on the bottom of the bracket since they aim closer to the center of the umbrellas in this configuration. Someone else mentioned the toothed clamp for locking the pivot - it works very well for holding everything in place without having to tighten a lot, but he's correct in that it doesn't allow for fine adjustment of the angle. This is really a nonissue since lighting subjects with large umbrellas is not a precise technique in the first place.

I bought this so I could fire two Speedlite's into a 60" Photogenic Eclipse Plus Umbrella.A good feature is that the tilt mechanism has detents in it, so it stays put even if the tightening knob is a little loose.A couple of cons. The thumb screws are a little too short and pop off as there is no way to secure when in a carry bag. Also, if you need to mount let's say a flash on top on one side and bottom of the other you will have a problem. This is because the screws are short and there is rubber grip on the top side. It gives no room for the screw to bite.Second problem is that it can tild forward and backwards, but not twist side to side. This may sound strange, but if the top T could spin as a regular umbrella mount, this would be far more useful. It would allow you to have two flashes one above each as well as side to side. Since it doesn't, you are requried to purchase let's say a Bogen 2905 steel umbrella bracket. That raises the prive another $20-$30.

I needed a way to bundle multiple speedlites in one modifier (60" umbrella) to boost my lighting power and this is perfect for the job. It attaches to a standard umbrella swivel bracket and comes with two hot shoes. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the shoes are a bit tight, as others have noted. Otherwise, it is exactly what I was looking for and extremely affordable.

Comments about Morris MTH-203 Umbrella Tilt Head:

Love having 2 lights on one stand and bought this well-priced option.

Love the captive screws and captive locking jaws. Rubber padding is kinda weak. Don't like the stock knobs since I like to take my flashes on and off at will.

As-is is *really* long, so I cut it up and added several 1/4-20 threads closer to the center. Would love to see a shorter version with the same clamp so I don't have to chop-shop it.

All in all great value for the money.

I have a similar bracket without the tilt but needed another that was wider. Unfortunately the dimensions aren't available for this one anywhere. I checked the Morris website and every online retailer that sells this product without any luck. Now that I have it I can give them to anybody that may be interested. 15"x3.5"x1" with a variable spread from 14" to 9.5".
Very well made. The teeth in the tilt mechanism provide extra stability and durability that more than make up for the inability to make fine adjustments.

Great way to use a pair of flashes on an umbrella. The shoes are a little tight on the strobes, but still work. The shoes have a plastic insulator to prevent the strobe's shoe from shorting out. Construction is fine and seems to be heavy duty enough to support everything.

I ordered this with an umbrella, because it showed up as a related accessory. The description was not clear enough to warrant exactly how to go about using it. It discussed repositioning a modeling lamp. It did not accessorize the umbrella I ordered in any way.In fact, the umbrella may be a better accessory for the tilt head stand. Now I have a product that is completely useless to me unless I buy something else.[...] The product looks to be of high quality, and I'm sure it is. I just have no idea how to use it, or exactly what types of things I need to make it useful. So far none of the lights I have have these kinds of keyed feet on them to mount on the tilt head mount.

This bracket allows you to use 2 Speedlights with or without an umbrella. It is possible to mount a Pocketwizard or a 3rd flash, making it a very versatile accessory. Very useful for outdoor work where a single strobe is not enough. The cold shoes are a little flimsy, but I replaced them with the AS-10 stands that come with Nikon flashes and these hold the strobes much more firmly. I have two of them now.

Allow to set up to five flashes: three on top and to at bottom. Of course you will need 3 additional brackets, but who cares? When i am shooting outdoors, this thing is my best friend.

Great for mounting multiple flashes to one single umbrella. Build quality is very good. Easily adjustable up or down is a great plus. The only drawback is you cannot make fine up or down adjustments due to the way the jaws lock in when you tighten it after adjustment. However, it wouldn't stop me from buying this again. Probably not that critical unless you're snooting the flashes anyway. I already have two of them. I love them.

I have two flashes and a PW on mine and it works great. Inexpensive enough that its not worth making one. I get 360 degrees of movement as the bracket moves up an down and the whole deal can turn on the stand. If you want to stack flashes sideways then you could use a boom of super clamp.
                                        Cons:
                                        The knobs aren't exactly great
I don't like the cold shoes very much. The PW slides in okay but the flashes are very tight. I usually use a hot shoe adapter anyway si its not a deal breaker for me
