This Wein MRB625 1.35V Zinc-Air Battery is a replacement for PX625, PX13, and MR-9 batteries, and is ideal for cameras, exposure meters, and other electronics.

Equivalent to PX625, PX13, PX67
Voltage output more stable than alkaline replacements
No adjustment or adapters required
Up to 10 year shelf life; Wein cells are not activated until the pull tab is removed (removing battery and replacing tab prolongs battery life).

Unfortunately I waited 2 months before putting this into my camera and it did not work. I took it out and measured it. It was only 1.07 V under no load. I should have tried using it sooner because now it is not returnable. A rather expensive little battery plus I had to pay for shipping. Now I have to order it again... hopefully will get a good one this time.

No. Mercury batteries are no longer available. This replaces a mercury-based battery used in old cameras using zinc-air chemistry.

Yes, the Wein MRB625 1.35V Zinc-Air Battery works on the Leica CL film camera. If you have the newer Leica CL digital you would need a Leica BP-DC 12 Lithium-Ion Battery for Select Leica Digital Cameras (7.2V, 1200mAh), BH # LEQBPDC12 MFR # 19500.
