Noticed this product while cruising the B&H website. It's reasonably priced, very well made, supports an ancient leica lens on a 5D, and produces sharp images. Can't ask for more than that! Now I can use a lens that has been gathering dust for about 20 years.

I need a set of extension tubes for either Leica L or Leica M mount.

This adapter will act as an extension tube for some Leica M lenses. I had success using it to mount Leitz M0.8 lenses to an ARRI Mini LF that had a Canon EF mount. That configuration operated like an extension tube (good for macro), but it did not retain infinity focus (max focus was less than two feet). This adapter will not allow you to mount Leica M or L lenses to an M-mount camera.
