The model and I had explored a number of different concepts with her cello when she kneeled behind it and reached up as if to play. I had the idea to eliminate everything but her arms so I draped a dark cloth over her head to hide her hair but still needed to drop it out in Photoshop. I ended up creating a new background to hide her head and a new foreground to hide her toes and create a reflection.
