Every year I choose a theme/concept and setup a shoot with my close friends and my family. For this shoot, I setup the set in my friend's studio using prop/set pieces from a prop shop, plastic jewels, plastic food, wine and bread from the local baker etc. Once I designed the set, I set the composition and shooting three main group shots of people, one at a time. This was done to help save on costume rentals and because I was unable to get everyone together at the same time. The final image is a composition of the original 'Set' image, Three images of people around the table (lit separately; one shot to the left, middle and then right) and a final image of the fellow lying in the front. Once it the people and set were composed, I added the background faded in the back and dodge/burned throughout the image to blend everything together into the one space.
