This is a seminary that I first remember visiting when I was a teenager. And architecture making an impression on a teenage girl means it was something spectacular. It was taken in late September 2018, and the weather had been terribly rainy for days before & I had a window of opportunity in my schedule early one morning when the weather was supposed to break, so I decided on a sunrise shoot. I’m rarely ambitious enough for a sunrise shoot, but I’d been thwarted multiple days prior so it got me up on a rare morning. Well, it was the most worthwhile pre-dawn wake-up I’ve ever done because that fog was magical. As I pulled up to the location I was giddy with excitement. What amazing luck! All the rainy days prior & the sudden change in weather on this morning seemed to have benefitted me by creating this gorgeous blanket of velvety fog. It looks like a Scottish highland morning.
