The Biggest Product Releases According to You
If page views and clicks are a reflection of consumer interest, then these were the biggest, most compelling product releases of the year—as evidenced by the volume of readership.
FUJIFILM GFX100RF
Announced back in March, FUJIFILM’s GFX100RF drew immediate acclaim and attention thanks in part to its medium-format, point-and-shoot design—making it the first medium-format camera built to fit in a to-go bag.

FUJIFILM X half
When FUJIFILM’s X half camera was announced back in May, the photo world (along with our readership) took immediate notice. An innovate riff on the half-frame concept, the X half camera blends the ease of digital shooting with the pleasure, presence, and texture of shooting film—an inventive angle that no contributed to the popularity of its announcement.

Nikon Z5 II
Debuted back in April, Nikon’s Z5 II quickly became the early favorite for best mirrorless camera of the year. Featuring an unmatched combination of versatility, functionality, and affordability, it’s no wonder the Z5 II drew such acclaim and interest—ending the year as one of our most read product announcements.

Sony FX2
Sony's announcement of the FX2 was something of a surprise—especially to those of us who assumed the next Cinema Line camera would either be a new FX3 or FX30 model. That element of surprise no doubt helped the FX2 become one of our most popular announcements, though its robust feature set and affordable price surely didn’t hurt.

Sigma BF
Announced in late February, Sigma’s BF mirrorless camera remained a popular topic of conversation all throughout 2025, making it one of the most talked about cameras of the year. It was also one of the most polarizing, its minimalist, “radically simple” design earning praise from some, scorn from others. Regardless of whether you loved it or hated it, this year everyone was talking about the Sigma BF.

2025 was a year of surprises—both in terms of traffic and interest. Our numbers grew, as did your appetite for topics that often surprised us. We’re grateful for your support and readership, and we look forward to serving your interests in 2026 and beyond.
