B&H sells the USA model of cameras like this. They will come with a US Warranty. However you can add a Square Trade Pro Plan at check out for International Coverage.
How does the preorder free Sigma 45mm lens work? Do you have to buy the lens then get a rebate for it? Also what kind of rebate is it (B&H credit, check, visa gift card etc.)?
Hi Brad, below are the basic details, but it seems like you buy just the camera, fill out the appropriate forms, and then sent the lens itself from Panasonic as long as you qualify and supplies are still available.

The S5 is the same size as a micro 4/3 camera and yet has a full size sensor - pretty amazing. If I wasn't fully invested in micro 4/3 and was looking for a new camera, I'd definitely look at the S5, especially with the new L-mount lenses that are debuting.
I assume that this does not take M4/3 lenses, but instead uses L mount lenses, is that right? If so, it would be good if someone said that early on. It isn't stated in the specs or in the write-up at all, at least as far as I can see.
As a full-frame S series camera it will not at all work with MFT lenses as they simply can’t cover the larger format and uses the L mount found on all other S series bodies. If you want to learn more about the L mount I would highly recommend you check out the section labelled “Welcome to the L-Mount Alliance” above and read more on Explora to find out all the options currently available.
It is full frame which means NOT micro 4/3. Panasonic, Sigma, and Leica formed the L-mount Alliance back in Sept. 2018 so its been about 2 years now since Panasonic made clear they would be pursuing both micro 4/3 and L-mount.
I pre-ordered the S5 before watching the awesome live presentation. I've been drooling for a full-frame mirrorless camera for sometime but hadn't budgeted for it yet. I'd been tracking the S5 leaks for a while and couldn't glean the lensing until recently. I figured it couldn't be an MFT lens because that would be even worse than putting an APS-C (or a Nikkor AF-S) lens on a full frame DSLR. My point is that there are 7.4 billion approaches to photography and that we all have to struggle to find the right definition of "affordable" for the unique niche that makes each of us a photographer. I started on my Grandma's Brownie in the mid-60's and never stopped. There are other full frame mirrorless cameras on the market. I decided (and I thank) Panasonic for doing what no other camera manufacturer does: creating and sticking to a flagship camera year after year instead of releasing new cameras every 6 months. That's what's earned my loyalty.
My Current Set-ups: I'm also heavily invested in MFT with a GH5 (currently out for repair), GH5S and GX-85 along with several lenses, extension tubes, etc and a Ninja V (Damn you, B&H for those unbeatable Deal Zones ;-). I'm a retired Army Combat Cameraman and an experienced diver. I use my MFT gear almost exclusively for underwater photography and video. I still have an old Panasonic HVX-200 P2 video camera and a UW housing in my closet). I'd say I'm somewhere between a serious amateur and a semi-pro. My day job is as a professional still photographer and video producer for a federal law enforcement agency in Miami. I use my government issue Nikon D3 for stills and a Nikon D810 for video. A lot of my day job work is at night, so I use a Sigma 24mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4 for available light night work. I've got Nikon 12-24, 24-70, and 70-200 f2.8 glass for my daylight and studio work. As a civil servant I also go far too out-of-pocket to supplement my government provided camera gear. I've been slowly investing into my own complete freelance set-up and the S5 will become my "A" camera on land and eventually underwater. I plan to stay with all my MFT gear as my primary UW set-up and as my "B" system on land. I'll be retiring from the civil service in the next year or so. My 10 year goal is to get the VA to spend 6 - 12 months fixing everything the Army broke over 21 years while I transition into a side business as a UW (I heart sharks) photog and a nature shooter who also produces corporate videos.
Sorry and thanks for indulging in my way too long comment. All I really wanted to do is ask B&H if I'll still get a free Sigma 45mm lens because I pre-ordered my S5 with Lens option. My secret plan was to try and get Matt and Derek to put me on their T-Shirt list (XXX-L).
Thanks to All who read this post. Gotta go. Gotta take pictures!
And, to answer your question, the S5 with Lens Kit option is still eligible for the free lens. Just make sure to follow all the instructions to make sure you get one. Here is the basic information:

Lens promo link provided below is invalid
Hello, sorry about that. Please try this:
https://panasonic.registria.com/lumixpromo
Unfortunately that one gives the same "Link not found" page.
I had to modify the address. The link was adding a "%C2%A0" to the end. Deleting that worked.
Links have been double checked again. Should work now.
Need some estimates on the shipping dates =( A week, a month?

Can you pull focus on the S5 like the GH5?
Yes autofocus pulling is available on the Panasonic S5.
Does this camera come with international warranty?

It’s pretty clearly labeled as full frame so naturally it won’t use micro 4/3 lenses.
