Welcome to B&H Photo’s Macro Photo Week! From April 26-29, 2021, across all B&H's channels, you'll see new content and events about close-up and macro photography. You'll find invigorating chats with photographers who like to get up close and personal with their subjects, tutorials to sharpen your macro photo skills, and inspirational close-up photos.

To get more involved, tune in to the live sessions that the B&H Team will be hosting on Zoom throughout the week. Each session features talented people looking to share their love of close-up photography and the gear needed to capture amazing macro images. Day One: Macro Challenge and Lighting
Monday, April 26, 1:30-2:30 P.M. EST
Join photographers Matt Hill and Christian Domecq for a presentation on “Taking the Macro Challenge.” Their awesome macro photos will surely inspire you!
Monday, April 26, 2:30-3:00 P.M. EST
Photographers Steve Schwartz and David Weinberger will light up your macro photos with a discussion on “Dynamic Lighting for Macro Photography.”
Day Two: Macro in Film and Video + On the Wing
Tuesday, April 27, 1:30-2:00 P.M. EST
Join photographer and videographer Katie Schuler for look at wide-angle macro images and the moving picture with “A Discussion about Wide-Angle Macro in Film & Video.”
Tuesday, April 27, 2:00-3:00 P.M. EST
Photographer Jose Madrigal takes us up close with winged insects and small birds with “On the Wing.”
Day Three: Conservation and Florals
Wednesday, April 28, 1:30-2:00 P.M. EST
Join Brooke McDonough for a talk about helping our planet with “Close-Up Conservation: Macro Photography and Storytelling.”
Wednesday, April 28, 2:00-3:00 P.M. EST
Flowers are blooming with Alan Shapiro and his talk, “Macro Photography: Finding Your Floral Zen.”
Day Four: Rings & Things and The Tiny Universe
Thursday, April 29, 1:30-2:00 P.M. EST
Jillian Bell talks about macro gear (as well as close-up photography) with her presentation, “Macro: Rings and Things.”
Thursday, April 29, 2:00-3:00 P.M. EST
Speaker and photographer Dom Kamarchka inspires us to get out and start “Exploring the Universe at Our Feet.”
