Portability

The G-SPEED Shuttle features a compact form factor and powerful components. Designed for travel between on-site locations and studios, the G-SPEED Shuttle delivers storage for demanding workflows, including 4K, 8K, VR (virtual reality), HDR (high dynamic range), and HFR (high frame rate).

Versatile Drive Bays

With capacities up to 48TB, the G-SPEED Shuttle features either four SATA 3.5" drive bays or two SATA 3.5" drive bays and two Evolution (ev) Series drive bays. ev Series bays are unique to G-Tech and may be mailed or transported with more ease than a 3.5" drive.

Thunderbolt™ 3 with Impressive Transfer Speeds

The G-SPEED Shuttle is equipped with dual Thunderbolt™ 3 ports, one of which attaches to your host system, while the other allows for the daisy-chaining of up to 5 additional Thunderbolt™ devices. The four-SATA-drive-bay model features transfer speeds of up to 1000 MB/s, while the ev model reaches up to 500 MB/s, allowing for the simultaneous editing of multi-cam footage in real time, the rendering of multi-layer effects, and efficient exporting

Raid

With four SATA drive bays, the G-SPEED Shuttle is pre-configured as hardware RAID 5, which supports performance and data redundancy. Also supported is RAID 0, 1, and 10, each of which, respectively, provides performance, data redundancy, and a combination of both. As the ev Series model only has two SATA drive bays, hardware RAID supports RAID 0, 1, and JBOD.

OS Compatibility

The G-SPEED Shuttle comes pre-formatted for macOS 10.12 and later, but may be used with Windows 10 and 7 after a simple reformat, making it a well-rounded solution for photo and video professionals, no matter which platform they are using.
