Thanks Joseph.  Can you provide a bit more information on the "dummy battery" (i.e. the product and/or products that are needed for a DSLR to extend battery life)

That would be a product like the IndiPRO Tools AC Power Supply with LP-E6 Dummy Battery (8 ft), BH #INP411C.   This will give you an AC Power Supply for many Canon cameras like the 5D Mark IV, 90D and others.  There are different models depending on your camera.
