When it came to upgrading the first iteration of the Solidcom C1 Wireless Intercom System, Hollyland knew it had to outfit the next version with something good, and boy did this brand do it. The new Solidcom C1 Pros feature dual-microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology for the ultimate live-event production experience. This makes the Pros ideal for communicating with your camera operators across concert venues, stadiums, or TV/film sets from up to 1100'.

The big-kahuna upgrade for the C1 Pro is these dual microphones on the single-sided headsets. A primary, directional microphone sits at the user’s mouth and can be adjusted as needed with the integrated 360° boom arm. A secondary, omnidirectional microphone on the earcup picks up environmental noise and, when the ENC switch is engaged, cancels out background noise for improved communication. No longer will sudden roars of the crowd interrupt your directions to your lighting technician or camera operator. Better yet, the secondary mic is dustproof and has better waterproofing for improved performance in inclement weather. In quieter, on-set applications, simply disengage the ENC feature.

The system comes in five different configurations that outfit you with two, three, four, six, and eight total headsets, one of which is the master. The master can link with up to seven headsets without requiring an additional hub, making the entire system expandable to best suit your needs .

Most of the C1 Pro’s functionality mirrors its predecessor, which makes for easy integration into your workflow. Raising or lowering the boom will mute the mic; alternatively, you can use the Mute/PTT functions on the earcup. The system operates in the 1.9 GHz frequency spectrum using the DECT 6.0 standard to ensure reliability. Even better, the Pros are backward compatible with the original C1 system, so you can use your preexisting equipment in conjunction with your new headsets.
