Hollyland HL-SOLIDCOM C1 Reviews
The Best I Have Used
This unit is much better than other intercom systems that I have used. The range was fantastic, It covered the size of a football field and through a test went between 2 houses. They are very clear. After using these, I would purchase and recommend.
I was a little skeptical of this but another production unit I know liked them. I decided to give them a try and they are excellent. Easy to set up, extra batteries included. Nice clear sound quality. Definite must have!
Really good alternative for live events and big sets!
If you need to keep communication with your crew at all times, the Solidcom C1 it's a very good system that's not only affordable but really easy to setup. With the included kit, you get plenty juice for all day.
I use it to fly FPV Drones, and Cameras at the same time, and it's great to have my hands free. the quality of all the materials is very good, I use them every day and they withstand the blows, the sound is incredible.
Useful, reliable, and
I just used this for a multi-camera job on-location, where we had 3 camera ops + 1 runner, constantly picking up sticks to move to different stages during an outdoor event. The headsets integrated into our workflow seamlessly and allowed us to communicate with each other during almost every part of the shows except for the loudest music parts. Batteries lasted all day (8 hrs) as well, though its reassuring to know there's an extra set in the bag. During quieter parts of the presentation we could discretely whisper to each other so attendees next to us couldn't hear us. I appreciate the large volume layout on the side and easy functionality. Just turn them on and they sync. Other belt pack and FMRS walkies have too many functions and buttons to get accidentally changed. Improvements? I wish the sound had a less tinny quality. Sounds a bit like being in a helicopter. I wish these were behind-the-head design, so that the user could wear a wide-brim hat. Finally, it would great if the earcups were more soundproof, or if there were a way to attach another over-the-ear cup on the other side. Any more sound isolation so that we could communicate better when positioned near an amplified speaker or shooting concerts. But for typical sets and event situations, these are fantastic.
Not for loud environment
We have Hollyland Sidcom C1 and they are great for anything else but not for church as you hardly can hear the camera operator that is close to the choir or any band when they are singing due to the background noise that is transmitted trough the microphone at the same time with the operator's voice.
works great but its went off after one hour still studying why...
