Canon C300 Mark II: First Look

Join B&H Photo’s Steven Gladstone for a first look at Canon’s new C300 Mark II Cinema EOS Camera. The video focuses on the new features of the camera, which include a new sensor, dual DIGIC DV5 processors, and internal 4K recording to CFast 2.0 memory cards. Also highlighted is the addition of Canon’s new Log Gamma 2 that is optimized for 10-bit recording, combining with the sensor to provide up to 15 stops of dynamic range. Gladstone also makes note of the camera’s ability to output 4K RAW video to an external recorder from its dual 3G-SDI connectors. Like the original C300, the Mark II is available with either a Canon EF or PL lens mount.
