Hello - could you tell me if the image can be simultaneously output to both the viewfinder and the LCD screen (rotated towards the person being filmed) during 4k record mode?
Thanks very much,
Regards,
Fiona.
Hi Fiona -
Yes. From the MENU, use the MODE selection button to switch to "Camera Mode" > set the LCD/VF > VF/SW > and set to "Enable".

Thank you, Mark for you prompt reply (and for the answer I was hoping for!).
One more question, do you know of any other camcorders which allow this simultaneous output while recording 4k video?
Thanks again,
Regards,
Fiona.
Hi Fiona -
Panasonic's HC-X1000 4K DCI/Ultra HD/Full HD Camcorder will allow 4K shooting with a rotatable LCD viewing screen and active viewfinder. Just set the MENU to the SELF SHOOT mode.

Thanks for this video. Can you post footage from the 170 or 200? I can't seem to find footage anywhere.
