Canon XC-10: First Look
06/19/2015In the following video, B&H Photo’s Steven Gladstone provides a quick look at Canon’s recently announced XC10 Professional 4K Camcorder. He discusses the compact form factor of the camera that blends elements of a camcorder and a DSLR, as well as its imaging capabilities, including a 1" sensor that delivers UHD video at 29.97p and 23.98 frame rates, and 12MP still images. Gladstone also highlights the camera’s built-in 10x zoom lens and rear 3" LCD screen that includes a removable eyepiece for shooting in brightly lit environments. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at BandH.com.

Terrible video. No sample photos or videos? No shots of it in use with a person holding it? Why has the quality dropped so far in these things? I could read a spec sheet just as easily as this guy reading it back to me.
I'd be interested in seeing who well the audio works and controls from out side sources (mics and Line direct from event sound mixer)
Will this camera shoot 1080 P24 (23.98) i didn't see it in the spec
Is there any sample of lowlight shooting, and Alpha footage?

Can you shoot stills, while recording video? Useful feature for wedding photography is possible.
AS I HAVE UNDERSTOOD FROM DPREVIEW'S EXPRESSIONS, IT HAS STILL PHOTO CAPABILITY DURING VIDEO TAKING (3840*2160 PIXELS MAX RESOLUTION). VIDEO FRAMING RATES: 4K: 30 FPS, FHD: 60, 30, 24 FPS. IF YOU USE IT ONLY AS CAMERA IT HAS 12 MP (4000*3000) RESOLUTION WITH 3.8 FPS SHOOTING RATE.
