Synology, a leading brand in the world of NAS enclosures, has announced that its latest DiskStation systems are coming soon to B&H. Whether you are a home user looking to expand their digital media library or a small business who needs a reliable storage solution for various important documents and applications, Synology is here to assist.
Coming in four different form factors, the latest DiskStation systems come in two-bay, four-bay, five-bay, and massive eight-bay units! This allows you to scale your performance to fit a variety of environments. Those who are looking to save their favorite documents or finished personal projects will find the two-bay unit to be more than enough while the larger sizes enable you to build out your own personal digital library that can span across all types of media. You can also transform your DiskStation into a private video surveillance unit, giving you massive support for a ton of different camera models, web browser compatibility, push notification, and so much more!
Each unit comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen processor, 4GB of memory, and two additional M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots for quick caching! Additionally, there are multiple Ethernet ports that offer fast networking speeds and enable failover support, keeping the DiskStation connected if one of the network ports fail.
Each DiskStation unit comes with a suite of security features, including Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication, Synology's cloud-based Active Insight malware detection, admin swapping, and web-browser support via QuickConnect! You also get some great built-in data protection with support for Hyper Backup, Active Backup, Snapshot Replication, and C2 Storage!
