Arecont Vision has expanded its range of network cameras with the Contera Series. This new series of network cameras comes in several form factors that include two micro bullet cameras, two bullet cameras, two dome cameras, two outdoor dome cameras, and two multi-sensor panoramic cameras. These cameras all feature SNAPstream+ (Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing) for bandwidth efficiency, NightView technology for low-light applications, multicasting, forensic zoom, scaling, ePTZ, and PoE technology.
The micro bullet cameras come in 1080p and 5MP versions. Both models are equipped with a 3.6mm fixed lens that delivers an 85° horizontal field of view for the 1080p model, and a 62° field of view for the 5MP model. Additionally, they both have four IR LEDs to provide up to 66' of illumination in low-light conditions. They comply with ONVIF profile S for interoperability with other surveillance devices, and are housed in an aluminum enclosure that is IP66 and IK10 rated for outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism. They come with an adjustable 3-axis wall mount.
The bullet cameras come in 1080p and 5MP versions. Both models are equipped with a 2.7-12mm motorized varifocal lens. The 1080p model has a 108 to 32° horizontal field of view, while the 5MP version has an 81 to 24° horizontal field of view. Both models provide up to 100' of illumination in low light, thanks to forty-eight IR LEDs. They feature a built-in card slot that supports SDXC cards up to 256GB (sold separately), two-way audio, compliance with ONVIF profiles S & G, an aluminum enclosure that is IP66 and IK10 rated, and an adjustable 3-axis mount.
The dome cameras come in 1080p and 5MP versions. Both models are equipped with a 2.7-13.5mm motorized varifocal lens that delivers a 105 to 28° horizontal field of view for the 1080p model, and a 79 to 22° horizontal field of view for the 5MP model. Both models provide up to 66' of illumination in low light. They feature a built-in card slot that supports microSD cards up to 256GB, and compliance with ONVIF profiles S & G.
Like the previous three form factors, the outdoor dome cameras come in 1080p and 5MP versions. Their 2.7-12mm motorized varifocal lens delivers a 108 to 32° horizontal field of view for the 1080p model, and an 81 to 24° horizontal field of view for the 5MP model. Both models provide up to 66' of illumination in low light. Lastly, the multi-sensor panoramic cameras come in 8MP and 20MP versions. Both cameras are equipped with four sensors. Their four 6mm fixed lenses deliver a 180° horizontal field of view. They feature two-way audio, compliance with ONVIF profile S, and an aluminum enclosure that is IP66 and IK10 rated.
