In case you haven’t heard, Hisense made news in July 2015 by buying a former Sharp TV factory in North America. Now, after building up its own brand of TVs since 2013, Hisense televisions and tuner-free displays are available at B&H. For starters, the 32H3B1 is a 32" HD tuner-free display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, three HDMI inputs, and a USB port. It is MHL-compatible, which will allow you to mirror your smartphone’s display with an MHL cable.
If you want Full HD, check out the 40H3C1. In addition to the built-in tuner for over-the-air broadcast, this model adds an additional USB port for playback of your digitally stored multimedia. It also adds component and composite video inputs, an optical output for connecting to your home theater system, and a headphone output for private listening.
The H7- and H8-Series add 4K resolution with UHD upscaling and smart TV functionality to the equation. The H7 is available in 43, 50, and 65" sizes. Along with being a smart TV, you can access popular apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, and more, either wirelessly via integrated Wi-Fi or via a wired Ethernet connection. Four total HDMI ports and three USB ports are on board the H7-Series, in addition to one component input, an optical output to your sound system, and a headphone out.
The H8-Series is available in 50" and adds local dimming technology to the already stacked feature set of the H7-Series. Local dimming provides discrete control of specific zones of the backlight, allowing the display to dim areas of the screen that should be dark without lowering the overall image brightness, effectively increasing the contrast ratio.
The 65H10B is Hisense’s flagship model, at the moment. This 65" curved TV has a refresh rate of 120 Hz to reduce the blur commonly associated with fast-moving objects. Its onboard Android OS allows direct access to an app store, which offers popular platforms including Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, Pandora, and more. So whether it’s Hisense or another brand, B&H has the TV for you.
