Always striving to deliver customers the best and most authentic image quality possible, Sony has announced new series of BRAVIA TVs and the Theater TRIO. The new displays feature the combination of Sony’s XR processing and True RGB mini-LED backlighting. The new series includes the BRAVIA 7 II, BRAVIA 9 II, BRAVIA 7 II Pro, and BRAVIA 9 II Pro. Each display also comes equipped with Google TV with Gemini, PS5 functionality, and immersive audio. Each pairs perfectly with the Theater TRIO, a soundbar with wireless front speakers.
True RGB Meets XR Processing
Taking center stage in Sony’s latest BRAVIA lineup is their True RGB mini-LED backlighting, which utilizes independently controlled red, green, and blue LEDs for stunningly authentic color representation. These visuals area enhanced an anti-glare screen, HDR, Dolby Vision, and IMAX Enhanced support, plus their very own XR processing features. Together they analyze movement for blur-free fast motion content, implement AI for scene-by-scene optimization, and upscale older sources to near-4K quality.

Immersive Sound
Adding to the brilliant visuals of the new BRAVIA 7 II and BRAVIA 9 II is theater-like audio reproduction with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X specifications. Additionally, each set features Sony’s Acoustic Multi-Audio+ and Voice Zoom 3 with AI. Acoustic Multi-Audio+ matches audio placement with on-screen content, and Voice Zoom 3 with AI analyzes content to detect human voices. It then can amplify them to make dialogue easier to hear.

Google TV with Gemini
You can provide movies, TV, and PlayStation 5 gaming through any of the four HDMI inputs, or you can take advantage of Google TV with Gemini. Access a wide variety of streaming services with your voice. With Gemini’s advanced capabilities, you can naturally speak your requests and questions to it directly through the voice-enabled remote control.
For additional streaming, look to Sony Pictures Core to view Sony’s high-quality movie titles and IMAX Enhanced content. With the BRAVIA 7 II, you get a free 12-month streaming subscription and 5 movie credits. The BRAVIA 9 II doubles that to 24 months of streaming and 10 credits.
BRAVIA 7 II & BRAVIA 9 II
BRAVIA 7 II and BRAVIA 9 II are extremely similar, but the flagship BRAVIA 9 II sets itself apart with more advanced versions of some core features. They include a non-alkaline USB-C rechargeable voice remote, the additional access to content on Sony Pictures Core, and these significant upgrades:
-
Acoustic Multi-Audio+ with Beam Tweeter: Instead of the four-driver array, the Pro versions have eight drivers, adding two sound-positioning tweeters and two Beam Tweeters.
-
Black Screen Pro: Rather than relying on an anti-glare matte screen, each display has a special anti-glare nano coating to reduce reflections and deepens blacks.

Going Pro
Pro versions of each standard series delivers everything from the standard edition and the following additions and enhancements:
-
Backlit remote control
-
Enhanced Sony Pictures Core with 15 total movie credits along with 24 months of streaming.
-
Voice Zoom 3 Enhancer, which allows for additional settings on each end to make voices even louder or softer for maximum control.
-
3-Year Enhanced Exchange Warranty: In addition to two extra years of coverage, it may be possible for customers to receive a replacement TV if approved by Sony’s support team.

And Then There’s TRIO
Made in close collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, the TRIO is a soundbar with two wireless front speakers that are designed to emulate cinema sound in the home. This is done with support for premium formats, such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced.
This is in addition to Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound Mapping, which can create up to 24 phantom speakers to create an incredibly immersive experience, and Sound Field Optimization, which calibrates audio settings to the room it’s in.
Each series is currently available in a wide range of sizes. The BRAVIA 7 II comes in a 55”, 65”, 75”, and 85” model, while the BRAVIA 9 II, BRAVIA 7 II Pro, and BRAVIA 9 II Pro all come in 65”, 75”, and 85” sizes.
