Place the SmartCam HD Plus Indoor Camera on any shelf or stand in your home, or attach it to a wall. Mount the SmartCam PoE Outdoor Camera anywhere around the perimeter of your home, and have a live view of the inside and outside of your home 24 hours a day, right on your iOS or Android phone. The SmartCams deliver Full HD 1080p resolution images and are easy to use and loaded with intuitive features.
The SmartCams offer motion and audio detection alerts, and allow you to select up to three detection zones if you want to set limits. If you’d like to be notified when the delivery man drops off the package you’ve been waiting for, and when the kids reach for the cookie jar cabinet, simply pull up the SmartCam app and draw squares around the front door and the kitchen cabinets, and a notification will be sent to you if activity is detected in those zones. The indoor model has a built-in mic and speaker, so you’ll be able to give the kids a warning through your phone, which they’ll hear from the camera speaker. The SmartCams support up to 128GB SD cards, and you can set them to record the motion-detected events or to record continuously. The indoor model also lets you set recording manually from your phone.
When nighttime comes, both cameras will record a clear black-and-white image in even complete darkness, thanks to IR LEDs built in around the lens. Other special features include Samsung Light Enhancer and Wide Dynamic Range, which compensates for backlight conditions. The outdoor model is also PoE capable and comes with a PoE adapter that lets you conveniently place the camera wherever you want without worrying about where the nearest power outlet is.
