More Energetic Sound, Longer Life

Despite its portable design, the SoundLink Max delivers impressive speaker power with a visceral bass that fills your entire room or outdoor space. With a whopping 20 hours of battery life, your music can easily last through an all-night rager.

Portable and Durable

Weighing less than 5 lb and featuring a soft-textured, removable handle, the SoundLink Max is easy to carry. It’s also plenty durable, thanks in part to its IP67 rating, which means it can withstand an accidental drop in the pool or even a dust storm. Not only will it survive a quick dip, it’ll float as well. Although it’s not designed to be played while in water, so don’t do that.

Hi-Res Sound Capabilities

Thanks to the aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec, you can listen to lossless music with any Snapdragon Sound certified Android device as your source. iPhone users can rely on Apple’s AAC codec to play their streaming music or library files.

Multiroom Possibilities

If you already own a Bose smart speaker or soundbar, you can connect them to the SoundLink Max using Bose’s SimpleSync technology, creating a seamless multiroom listening experience. The SoundLink Max also allows for more than one party DJ, giving you the option to simultaneously connect to two separate mobile devices.

Shortcut Options

The Bose SoundLink Max has a programmable shortcut control that allows you to link to your Spotify account. With the press of a button, you can play your Spotify tracks without messing around on your phone. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut button to switch between Bluetooth and wired modes.

Charge Your Phone

Since the SoundLink Max might last longer than your phone, the speaker allows you to charge your mobile device via connection to its USB-C port.

Option for Wired Source

As mentioned above, the SoundLink Max offers an auxiliary input in case you want to connect to a wired source instead of using a Bluetooth connection.
