Nest recently unveiled its 2nd generation wired doorbell. The wired design will connect to your existing doorbell wiring, enabling it to work with all chimes rated for a 16-24 VAC, 10VA doorbell transformer.
Available in ash, ivy, linen, and snow, these dual-band Wi-Fi doorbells capture 960 x 1280-resolution video from a 145-degree diagonal field of view, ensuring full body visibility of the visitor at your front door. Additionally, the doorbells feature two-way audio, thanks to a built-in speaker and microphone with noise cancellation, 10' range of night vision and HDR for 24/7 coverage, 3 hours of event video history, seamless voice control via Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and motion-activated alerts via the Google Home app.
Supporting Wi-Fi 6E technology, the new Nest Wifi Pro adds fast and reliable wireless connections with a combined speed of up to 5.4 Gb/s across three separate signal bands. The 6 GHz band helps to reduce interference with compatible devices, delivering fast and smooth 4K streaming and online gaming experiences. Available as a single module or in two- and three-packs with four different colors to choose from, the Nest Wifi Pro allows you to set up a mesh network quickly that automatically optimizes and repairs itself to provide you with seamless connections as you move throughout your home. Each module covers up to 2,200 square feet, which lets you customize your system by adding Nest Wifi Pro routers where needed.
