Hisense Announces Massive 136” MicroLED TV

At CES 2025, Hisense announced its entry into the microLED category with a massive 136” MicroLED display. Powered by the powerful Hi-View AI Engine X, this stunning new display uses AI-based algorithms to ensure each and every frame is bright and lifelike. The impressive visuals pair nicely with an integrated multidimensional sound system and the VIDAA OS, making the 136” MicroLED TV an exceptional all-in-one home theater solution.

Apart from its massive size, the standout feature of the new display is its high-density array of 24.88 million microscopic LEDs. Each pixel is its own light source with independent red, green, and blue LEDs, so there is no need for a traditional backlight. The result of this self-emissive technology is precise color and contrast with deep blacks and remarkable clarity.

Black nanocrystals are also incorporated to enhance performance even further, reducing reflectivity and ensuring clarity in well-lit rooms. The 136” MicroLED TV can achieve brightness levels up to 10,000 nits and an impressive 95% of the BT.2020 color space. The displayed image is further optimized with support for Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode.

An integrated multidimensional sound system and VIDAA OS rounds out this new addition to the Hisense home TV lineup. Both Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual X are supported for immersive spatial audio and the ability to clearly hear quiet dialogue. VIDAA OS opens up access to popular streaming content from a wide variety of services, such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and thousands more.

Control of the set is made easy with voice command integration using both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Even gamers can enjoy the large 136” screen, with a 120 Hz VRR, Auto Low Latency Mode, and FreeSync Premium Pro, which makes gameplay smooth and responsive.
