LG Unveils New OLED TVs at CES 2026

LG announced a treasure trove of new TVs at CES 2026, including updated OLED G6 and C6 models, the return of the iconic “Wallpaper” TV, and lots more.

LG's New Flagship OLED

LG’s newest flagship TV, the OLED evo G6, made its debut at CES 2026, promising 20% higher brightness and dramatically lower reflectivity than its predecessor. The improvement in brightness is thanks in part to the G6’s new Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 display panel, which advances on the Primary RGB Tandem panel used in last year’s model. Those advancements include LG’s new Hyper Radiant Color technology, which is designed to pass along the benefits of the Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel to other display features, such as color production and contrast.

The improvements to brightness, color, and contrast should bolster the overall picture quality of the G6’s 4K HDR panel and once again put LG’s flagship OLED in the running for best TV of the year

Additional highlights for the G6 include several gamer-friendly features like Nvidia G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro, built-in 4K 120 Hz game streaming via Nvidia’s GeForce Now service, and Bluetooth ULL (Ultra Low Latency) support for wireless game controllers.

Reportedly the OLED evo G6 will be available in screen sizes ranging from 48” to 97”, though not all sizes are guaranteed to include the same features.

Better You Look, More You C

LG also unveiled updated versions of its other popular OLED TV series, including the all-new LG C6, which, this time around, comes in two different versions—the C6 and C6H. There’s also a CS6 floating around out there, but that’s a whole other thing—sort of.

It’s not entirely clear why LG chose to split the C series up this way. All we know is that some sizes of the C6 (right now it’s looking like the 77" and 83" models) will feature an upgraded OLED panel with Hyper Radiant Color technology—the same kind used in last year’s G5—and some will not. However, regardless of size or model number, the overall picture quality of the new C6 OLEDs seems to be a significant improvement over last year’s very good C5 model.

Perks of Being Wallpaper

CES 2026 also marks the return of LG’s “Wallpaper Design” TV, which was first introduced at CES 2017 as a TV that was so thin it had to be wall mounted. Now it’s back—officially as the LG OLED evo W6—and as stunning as ever. (Though slightly thicker.)

Although technically it’s part of the W series, the W6 arguably has more in common with the G6 than it does its predecessors—aside from its ultra-thin form factor. In fact, it’s basically a G6’s panel (with processing) in a super-skinny nine-millimeter-class body.

Because it’s so thin, the W6 doesn’t use traditional inputs; it only has one cable and that’s for power. Instead, all inputs are located on the Zero Connect Box, which is designed to facilitate all of your connectivity needs and can be placed up to 30’ away from the TV.

And Much, Much More

Along with the aforementioned OLEDs, LG is rolling out a ton more TVs for this year's CES, including a new Gallery TV, an expanded QNED mini-LED lineup that reportedly features screen sizes up to 115”, and the already announced Micro RGB evo TV lineup.
