Thanks to a partnership with Sonance, Sonos now offers in-wall, in-ceiling, and outdoor speaker options. They’re all available in pairs, and are all optimized for use with the Sonos Amp, which connects them to the rest of your Sonos ecosystem for streaming. Additionally, pairing with the Sonos Amp allows you to use your compatible iOS device to optimize the audio output of the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers to the room where they’re installed, using the Trueplay feature of the Sonos app. Up to three pairs of Sonos by Sonance Architectural speakers can be powered by each Sonos Amp.
The grilles of the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers are paintable, which will help them blend into your décor. The outdoor speaker boasts a variety of weather resistances, including humidity, water, salt spray, heat, UV rays, and freezing temperatures. The in-wall speakers measure 7.8 x 11.69", while the in-ceiling speakers have a 9.13" diameter and 4.84" depth. The outdoor speakers take up 12.2 x 7.48 x 8.86" of real estate.
