Panasonic recently released several new presentation projectors, and they’ve seemingly got something for everyone, ranging from 3100 to 4400 lumens of brightness, XGA (1024 x 768) to WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, and in both standard- and short-throw configurations. Starting with the lone short-throw model, the PT-TW350U offers 3300 lumens of brightness with a WXGA (1280 x 800) native resolution and can create images up to 100" diagonally, with a 0.46:1 throw ratio, making it suitable for a quick setup in small- to medium-sized conference rooms.
According to the B&H Explora Buying Guide to Projectors, “brightness is the most important specification;” so, with the only short-throw model on this list out of the way, I’ll list the rest from the brightest down: there’s the 4400-lumen, WUXGA PT-VZ470U; the 4100-lumen, XGA PT-LB423U; the 3800-lumen, XGA PT-LB383U; the 3600-lumen, WXGA PT-LW373U; the 3300-lumen, XGA PT-LB353U; and the 3100-lumen, WXGA PT-LW333U. These have “standard” throw ratios, meaning somewhere between 1:1 and 2:1, and will produce images up to 300" diagonally, suitable for use in medium to large conference rooms.

I AM INTERESTED IN PURCHASING SCEEN AND PROJECTOR TO HOOK UP TO MY DIVIDOGRAPHERS SET UP
HOW MUCH ROOM DO YOU NEED BEHING THE SCREEN TO GET A CLEAR BRIGHT AND FULL SCREEN PROKECTION
Hi Robert -
Alot depends upon the size of your screen and the ambient light in the projection environment and if that ambient light can be controlled. If you are referring to the PT-TW350U, then the potential throw distance is only 1.6 to 3.3 feet, yielding an image diagonal from about 50 to 100 inches.
