HYPER announces the latest entry in its expansive mobile charging line, the 140W 3-Port USB Type-C/USB Type-A GaN Charger with Cable. The capabilities of this charger rely on GaN, which stands for Gallium Nitride. This element replaces the standard silicon used in other chargers, and compared to silicon, gallium nitride handles higher voltages and temperatures more efficiently. The other USB-C port supports Power Delivery 3.0 fast charging and is capable of up to 100W. Finally, the USB-A port supports fast charging Quick Charge 3.0 and is capable of up to 30W. Split between the three ports, there’s enough power to fast-charge single power-hungry laptops, or multiple phones, tablets, and other devices simultaneously.
