MartinLogan’s new Motion 6i and Motion 8i are versatile speakers that allow you to enjoy a variety of placement options. Available as single units, these speakers can be used either as a center channel, as a matched pair for front left/right channels, or as a matched trifecta in a left/center/right (L/C/R) configuration. Adding to their versatility, they can be mounted horizontally as a center channel or vertically as a left or right speaker.
These speakers use a Folded Motion Transducer in place of a more traditional dome tweeter for enhanced dynamic range and clarity with an 80 x 80° angle of sound dispersion. The Motion 6i uses two 3.5" poly cone woofers, while the Motion 8i uses two 4" poly cone woofers for additional bass response; the Motion 8i has a broad frequency response of 70 Hz to 25 kHz, while the Motion 6i goes from 120 Hz to 25 kHz. The Motion 6i accepts up to 130W of power, while the Motion 8i accepts up to 180W.
