Genaray has announced a bi-color panel LED and RGB Fresnel LED for photographers and videographers. The Quad Sun 1x4 Bi-Color can match sources between 3200 and 5600K with 120-degree coverage. Genaray’s RGB LED Fresnel features a 6.5" lens, 25-60-degree spot-to-flood beam, and 2800 to 6500K color range.
The Quad Sun features an integrated diffuser and 3,584 recessed LEDs to produce a bright and even light source up to 10,000 lux. Output is adjustable from 10-100% in 1% increments and flicker-free, so you can use it at high frame rates without issue. It can be powered using two V-mount batteries (not included) or AC power. Remote control is possible via DMX-512 for advanced setups.
The Quad Sun is housed in a reinforced metal chassis to endure the rigors of studio use. An integrated yoke can be mounted on a light stand with a baby pin or junior receiver. Barndoors are included to control spill.
Genaray’s RGB LED Fresnel uses a borosilicate glass lens to produce a powerful, focused light source for photo, video, and theater applications. Colors can be dialed-in via CCT, HSI, and RGB modes. Green/magenta shift adjustment is available in CCT mode. Twenty-two gel presets are included, as well as fifteen special effects for dynamic setups. Brightness can be adjusted from 0-100% in CCT mode and 20-100% in other modes. Adjust the beam angle using a focusing knob on the rear panel.
Controlling the Fresnel is possible on-unit or remotely via DMX-512. It is AC powered. Its yoke is compatible with light stands incorporating 5/8-inch baby pins. Barndoors are included for controlling spill.
