Godox Adds RGB Options to Litemons LE Monolight Series

Godox has released RGB editions of its three Litemons LE series monolights, the Litemons LE200R, LE300R, and LE600R RGB LED Monolights. Available in both black and white colorways, the new lights offer the same balance of power, size, and cost that makes the Litemons series a popular option for livestreaming, podcasting, shooting social media content, or building a home studio.

The RGB lights see output increases over their bi-color options across all three wattages. When used with the included reflector at a 3.3’ distance to the subject, the 220W light produces up to 71,700 lux, the 330W light produces 94,400 lux, and the 635W produces 130,000 lux.

The fixtures support both onboard and remote control via the Godox Light app and DMX/RDM control. Quick and easy NFC One-Tap connection to Godox Light app encourages users to take creative advantage of its simplified management interface, especially with multilight setups. Creators can also leverage the granular color control available in the Litemons series, with CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, and FX modes, along with four dimming curves—linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic—for precise control over output.

Multiple built-in lighting effects are available for simulating different creative sources like flashes, storms, TVs, and fire. The fixtures have a color temperature range of 1800-10,000K and boast high color accuracy, rating 96 and 95 for both CRI and TLCI standards, respectively.

Like the bi-color Litemons LE series lights, the new RGB options share the integrated power supply, allowing the light to run its 100-240 VAC power simply by plugging in its included AC power cord.

The built-in Bowens mounts on the lights add even more customization options, allowing you to attach softboxes, snoots, spotlights, and more. The series is designed for mostly indoor use, but their small size and minimal weight mean you can tuck them into small nooks and crannies that simply can’t accommodate larger fixtures.
