The SKIIIV series consists of two strobes, the SK300IIIV and SK400IIIV, which offer flash powers of 300Ws and 400Ws, respectively. The SKIIIV series lights provide impressive speeds and precise exposure control with a power range of 1/32 to 1/1 with ±0.1-stop fine adjustments. The recycle time can reach speed as fast as 0.1 seconds at 1/32 power and 1.5 seconds at full power. This ensures consistent lighting across frames.

In addition to their strobe capabilities, both lights feature a 10W LED modeling lamp with 5%-100% dimming control. This reduces guesswork helps avoid taking unnecessary test shots by providing a clear preview of the lighting effect. Not only will this make it easier to position your lights to shape shadows and highlights but can also serve as your key light if need be.

Keeping with studio lighting tradition, the SK300IIIV and SK400IIIV lights are built on the industry-standard Bowens mount, giving access to a vast range of light modifiers from Godox’s UL and QR series soft boxes to more specialized light-shaping tools like grids, snoots, barndoor kits, and beauty dishes.

The upgraded LCD display and redesigned control panel have been optimized for effortless adjustments and higher efficiency on the job. Once settings have been dialed in, they are preserved via the light’s 3-second auto-memory. This means that you no longer need to reconfigure settings every time you power up your lights. This is especially beneficial when working with multi-light setups.

Speaking of multi-light setups, we need to talk about wireless shooting. The SKIIIV series offers the same reliable wireless triggering options found in existing Godox lights, including a built-in 2.4 GHz X System wireless control, which is compatible with X-series triggers such as the X3 Pro, X3, and the XPro II. An alternative option comes in the form of an external port supports the 433 MHz (FT-16) triggers for additional flexibility.
