American DJ has been producing quality DJ lighting and effects for more than 30 years. The company's latest offering includes the Element Series, which comprises battery-powered, WiFLY wireless DMX LED par-style effects and the Color Strand LED, an RGBW LED strand with a wireless remote control.
The Element QA features six 5W RGBA LEDs (red, green, blue, amber) with an extended WiFLY range of up to 2,500' and XLR 3-pin wired DMX connections for wired control. The fixture offers five operational modes include RGBA dimmer mode; sound active mode; auto run mode (16 color-change modes, 16 color-fade modes, and 1 color/fade combo mode); static color mode; and DMX controlled mode. The Element QA features built-in IEC input and output power connectors, which power the light, charge the battery, and provides power daisy-chaining. The light provides smooth color mixing and is now capable of producing a seemingly unlimited palette of colors, including warm shades of orange, which couldn’t be achieved with older RGB technology. The Element QAIP utilizes the same lighting elements as the QA, but with a weather-proof casing, which is certified for IP54 standard and is well suited for indoor and outdoor applications.
The Element HEX features four 10W RGBAW+UV LEDs (red, green, blue, amber, white + ultra-violet) with an extended WiFLY ranged of up to 2,500' and XLR 3-pin wired DMX connections for wired control. The fixture also offers five operational modes include RGBAW+UV dimmer mode; sound active mode; auto run mode (16 color-change modes, 16 color-fade modes, and 1 color/fade combo mode); static color mode; and DMX controlled mode. The inclusion of a white element within the LEDs allows for true bright white illumination, while the UV component provides the means to create electric shades of pink and purple. With a slightly wider beam angle of 20 degrees, this fixture is ideal for highlighting larger areas of wall with vibrant color washes. The Element HEXIP combines the same lighting element as the Element HEX, but with a weather-proof casing, which is certified for IP54 standard and is well suited for indoor and outdoor applications.
The Color Strand LED is a 30' strand of 20 x RGBW LED (red, green, blue, white) bulbs, designed to create a festive bistro-style lighting effect. The strand offers nine built-in programs, which can be controlled via the included remote control from up to 98'. The strands are IP44 rated and can be used in all-weather outdoors. Up to 5 strands can be connected and each LED bulb is replaceable. In addition to the nine programs, the remote offers independent control over four strands with settings for brightness, speed, and easy-to-use color ring.
