Quasar Science Announces Ossium Shells and Frames for Tube LEDs

0Share

Quasar Science has added two new mounting systems for combining and controlling Crossfade X and Rainbow-series tube lights. The Ossium Shell creates shapeable two- or four-light banks at lengths of two or four feet. For jobs requiring greater output, the Ossium Frame houses six- or twelve-light arrays at two or four foot lengths. Rounding out the launch is a set of Snapboxes and Snapgrids from DoP Choice tailored to the Ossium system.

The Ossium Shell features articulating doors to direct light and manage spill from two or four lights. Dedicated plates make installation quick and easy, and a baby pin is included on the back of the unit for rigging. The separately available Super G Mounting System allows greater rotational control of the Shells so you can position the lights exactly the way you need them. Ossium Shells are available alone or as a kit with Crossfade X, Rainbow 2, or Double Rainbow tubes.

Perfect for creating larger banks of light, the Ossium Frame houses 6 to 12 lights that can be added or removed individually. A yoke and baby pin are included for positioning and mounting the unit. The Frame is available as a kit with Rainbow 2 or Double Rainbow tubes.

Complementing the new supports are dedicated modifiers from DoP Choice. Snapgrid Egg Crates are available to further refine light when using Ossium Shells or individual Rainbow 2/Double Rainbow tubes. Snapbag softboxes, Snapgrid Egg Crates, and a cloth set are also available to for Ossium Frames.
