Available in both RC 220B Bicolor and RC 220D Daylight versions, these powerful new chip-on-board (COB) LED lights are ideal for video creators looking for bright, true color output in a portable form.
Bright Output
These bright yet compact lights each include a detachable hyper reflector for boosting the output when you need an intense beam. The bicolor RC 220B unit outputs 8670 lux of 5600K at 3', which skyrockets to an impressive 84,500 lux when used with the included hyper reflector, and the daylight-balanced RC 220D cranks out 10,100 lux and a massive 98,700, respectively.
Accurate Color
No matter what you’re shooting, whether it be product shots, an interview, or an event, you want the color temperature of the light to be accurate and reliable. The RC 220 lights deliver with TLCI 96+ and CRI 95+ ratings for color rendering, ensuring that your subject’s true colors come through.
Dual Control Options
Just like SmallRig’s daylight and bicolor RC120 lights, these brighter fixtures offer both remote and manual control. Pair the lights with your mobile device using the SmallGoGo app for easy control from a distance or make adjustments right on the light if you prefer, using the LCD screen and control knobs on the back of the light.
Bowens Standard
Compatibility with standard Bowens-mount accessories enables you to add your choice of softboxes, barndoors, and other light-shaping components to the RC 220 light series.
Nine Lighting Effects
When continuous lighting just doesn’t do the trick, you can quickly add a specific vibe to your scene using the RC 220’s nine lighting effects including fireworks, lightning, and a paparazzi look.
Power Options
Choose AC power or a 14.4V/26V V-mount battery depending on whether you’re venturing into the field or are ensconced in a studio or another interior location. The V-mount battery option makes use of the separately available SmallRig V-Mount Battery Plate with a 3-pin XLR to D-Tap cable.
Quiet Cooling
The RC 220 series fits right in with sound recording on your pro video set with an ultra-quiet, active cooling system. When the lamp body reaches a temperature greater than 140°, the internal fan kicks on with a noise level of just 25 dB at 3.3'.
