Adding to its arsenal of compact and powerful lighting solutions, Zhiyun is introducing the MOLUS X60, available in bi-color and RGB variations. These lights produce a maximum 60W output and feature active cooling, allowing for a run time of 50 minutes at full power.
Temperature and Color
Since the standard X60 is a bi-color light, users will have access to a color-temperature range of 2700-6500K and a CRI rating of 95 and TLCI rating of 97. The X60 RGB, on the other hand, will also boast the same temperature range along with the ability to cycle throughout the RGB color range. It will feature a slightly higher TLCI of 98 and similarly rated CRI of 95.
Utility
The lights will be fully controllable via Bluetooth over Zhiyun’s app, ZY Vega, allowing you to shift color, temperature, and intensity as needed. For mounting, each light also has a 1/4"-20 mount.
Additional Goodies
Each of these lights will be available as stand-alone packages, which come with the light itself, a small diffusion dome, power adapter, and carrying pouch. Zhiyun is also offering additional combo packages that include a variety of other useful accessories. The MOLUS X60 Combo comes with the battery grip that allows for 50 minutes of full-powered run time, as well as a 60W power delivery USB-C cable and storage case. Meanwhile, the Pro package additionally includes two battery grips, one small diffusion dome, one storage bag, and the Zhiyun mini soft box.
With an even smaller frame than the X100, the X60 is comfortably making space for itself within Zhiyun’s Molus lineup. What are your thoughts on the new X60? Do you see yourself getting the bi-color or RGB models? Let us know below! For additional information, click through to the product pages.
