Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3
Coming in at the ground floor is the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, which is a very lightweight device in terms of performance and heft. You get a beautiful 15.6” display that’s large enough for your applications and media. You also get some solid performance with components that work well together for those just looking to do a few things. The processor, memory, and storage will suffice as long as you aren’t going all out with powerful applications or processes. Otherwise, you get ample connectivity options, a built-in webcam, mic array, and a cool blue finish that makes the IdeaPad Slim 3 stand out.
Acer Aspire 5 15
Coming in with a bit more processing power is the Acer Aspire 5 15. It offers greater performance thanks to the processor while also offering ample memory and storage. In terms of connectivity, it only has a few ports for your peripherals and an external display, which should be fine for the most part. The Acer Aspire comes with a 15.6” high-definition display suitable for content viewing. A 720p webcam is built into the bezel, giving others a clear view of you while on calls.
Lenovo 16" IdeaPad Slim 5i Laptop
When it comes to productivity, the Lenovo 16" IdeaPad Slim 5i comes in with greater performance all around. You get a solid processor, more memory, and a large storage drive to hold all of your important files and programs. What is the most interesting part about this device is how the 14” touchscreen display can flip around, giving you a tablet-like experience. MacBooks have always had a stigma behind them that they can be rather expensive, but the MacBook Air with M4 chip delivers a great experience at a reasonable price! You get Apple’s proprietary M4 chip, which delivers great performance across your applications! You also have enough memory and storage for your files and applications. The 13” model has a great looking display and comes in many different finishes, so you can express your own personal style whether you are at home or out and about. There are only two USB-C ports but they use Thunderbolt technology to help expand the utility of the device, giving you many different ways to use the MacBook Air without wondering if your external devices could handle it. Additionally, you get a ton of nice-to-have features with greater security, a solid webcam and mic system, and even the speakers in the MacBook Air are fantastic! All of this comes in a lightweight form factor coming in just under three pounds!
