Hohem brings their latest artificial intelligence tools to prosumer gimbals with the new iSteady MT3 AI camera stabilizer. The MT3 is an easy way to achieve steady moving shots with mirrorless cameras, action cameras, and smartphones, employing Hohem’s latest AI-enhanced tracking algorithms. The gimbal has 360° pan, 270° tilt (upped to almost 300° with the Pro variation), and 90° roll rotation, as well as streamlined horizontal-to-vertical switching.
The regular MT3 weighs 1.69 lb and has a load capacity of 3.08 lb, while the MT3 Pro weighs 2.36 lb and can support rigs up to 5.51 lb. The standard MT3 features AI Human Tracking functionality, and the MT3 Pro expands that to include pets, cars, and any other objects. The MT3 Pro Kit adds in a Dual Twist Handle, a custom carry case, and a Spot Mini Motor unit to control focus and zoom rings on a lens.
The standard MT3 has an integrated 0.4” OLED display, and the MT3 Pro has a detachable 1.4” touchscreen remote that works at distances of up to 32.8’. No matter which variation you choose, expect Bluetooth control, USB-C camera control, gesture control, a multi-faceted mount system, and up to 17 hours of battery life. The gimbal also has a built-in fill light with color temperature and brightness adjustments.
