If you’re looking for a new affordable projector, whether for presentations or home use, Pyle’s newest projector lineup aims to please. For data presentations in relatively small rooms, the PRJD903 is a good choice, thanks to its 854 x 540 native resolution and 60 to 120" image size. It outputs 2000 lumens of brightness with a 2000:1 contrast ratio to help it overcome ambient light. In addition to its VGA, composite video, component video, and two HDMI inputs, it is also equipped with two USB ports, which are compatible with external hard drives up to 400GB and flash drives up to 64GB for reading popular file types, such as MP4, AVI, MPG, MOV, MP3, WMA, and more.
The step-up model, the PRJLEDLP205, features a native resolution of 1024 x 768 and has a more standard 4:3 aspect ratio. It is also well suited for data presentations, with its 3000 lumens of brightness to overcome more ambient light, plus a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio to enhance detail in dark images. It will project images from 30 to 300" and is geared toward more traditional sources, such as DVD players and computers, with its VGA and composite video inputs. For video-heavy presentations, the PRJAND615 is designed to handle demanding multimedia tasks. Its native resolution of 1280 x 720 gives it a 16:9 aspect ratio, ensuring that you won’t lose any image area when displaying a 16:9 video or image. It will also work well in ambient light, thanks to its 3000 lumens of brightness. Additionally, the PRJAND615 has a built-in Android 4.2.2 operating system with an A20 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of storage for downloading compatible apps, and built-in Wi-Fi with which to do so. It is also equipped with VGA, component video, and two HDMI for traditional video sources, plus two USB ports with support for MP3, MP4, WMA, and more file types.
The final two models, the PRJLE78 and PRJLE83, both feature a built-in stereo speaker and a 1280 x 800 native resolution with a more computer-oriented aspect ratio of 16:10, which is great for displaying graphics and spreadsheets. They both sport VGA and dual HDMI inputs, plus support for component video. Both also have two USB ports, which support flash drives with AVI, MOV, MPG, MP3, TXT, and other file formats. The PRJLE83 will project 50 to 160" images at 3200 lumens of brightness, while the PRJLE78 will produce 50 to 200" images at 2800 lumens of brightness; so, if you have a dark room and need a larger image, the PRJLE78 would suit your needs, but if you have some light and don’t need such a large image, the PRJLE83 might be a better option.Of course, if you need help choosing a projector, from Pyle or otherwise, the knowledgeable salespeople at B&H will be happy to help in the SuperStore, over the phone at 800-606-6969, or via chat or email.
