Lens Adapters

In the following video, Allan Weitz, of B&H, presents a variety of lens adapters designed specifically to enable the use of a wide variety of different manufacturers’ lenses with mirrorless digital cameras. This video focuses on four lens adapters that add to the basic functionality of an adapter. Profiled first is the Dot Line Canon EF/EF-S to Sony NEX Adapter, which maintains autofocus and metering for Canon lenses on Sony APS-C E-mount bodies. Second, Weitz highlights the MTF Services Ltd. Nikon G to Sony E Adapter, which offers full aperture control despite the aperture ring-less design of Nikon G lenses. Third up is the Voigtlander VM-E Close Focus Adapter, which is a unique M to E-mount adapter with an integrated focusing helical. Finally, the video closes with a brief summary of the range of Metabones Speed Boosters, along with their ability to maintain a full-frame field of view and increase the lens's effective maximum aperture. We hope you enjoy the video, and invite you to view the wide selection of other instructional and informative videos at B&H.com.
