The MTF Services Ltd Sony E-Mount allows you to attach any Nikon-mounted lens to cameras such as the Sony NEX-3, NEX-5, NEX-VG10, NEX-VG20, and the Sony NEX FS-100, a7s, a7sII, a7r, and a7r II cameras. It is compatible with DX and 35mm format lenses and also supports lenses with or without aperture rings.

The adapter features MTF Services unique G mechanism that allows you to manually adjust the aperture of G/DX lenses, which have electronic aperture control and normally do not allow for manual aperture adjustment. The adapter consists of a HE30 aluminum main body, brass, nickel-plated Nikon mount, and a stainless steel E-mount and offers attachment and detachment of lenses without causing damage. The internal surface of the adapter is coated in a flat black finish to reduce internal reflections that can negatively affect your image.

Nikon G to Sony E-Mount Adapter is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great service, poor performance. We bought 90 of these for our FS100's and due to the way the flanges are designed they started grinding the mount of our Zeiss ZF.2 lenses. There was metal dust all through the adapter. We contacted the manufacturer who immediately took them back, adjusted them and returned them in a timely manner. However, this required shipping them to England and while they are better, many of them still grind after extended use. We really appreciate the service which MTF provided but for the money I'd expect better performance. The Voigtlander adapters which we bought for a fraction of the price have worked much better primarily due to the spring system in the mount which compensates for various mounts and is what you would find on a regular DSLR mount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully machined, flawless I must have spent over 6 hours researching adapters. In my particular situation I was looking for an adapter to mount my Nikon G lenses to the Sony VG20 handycam. There are adapters that will do this for as cheap as $40 and to spend $ to many seemed absolutely crazy. The decision to purchase the MTF was based on the fact that the lenses I would be hanging on the VG20 are expensive pieces of glass. And when you are continually swapping lenses knowing that the threads would not be damaged and that lens flare, light leaks, lens play none of those issues are experienced with the MTF.As a documentary film maker I have enough to worry about, my time is priceless and the MTF adapter is built with the utmost respect for our craft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expensive but Good I use this adaptor to attach Nikon still lenses to my Somy EA50 video camera. Works with full-frame and DX lenses. DX lenses perform at their intended focal length, Full frame lenses are 60% longer (on my APC-sized video chip). Works great! Tight tolerances, no leakage, solid as a tank. Love the ability to adjust aperture on even G lenses. Not-Picks: thin blue aperture ring is hard to find. Lock screw is a flimsy diameter and scores the inside ring easily, so it sometimes moves to a previously made crater when locked down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Exactly What It Is Supposed To Do! I purchased this adapter so that I could use my Nikon lens on my new Sony NEX-VG20. I handles all of my G lens exactly as it was designed. The only negative thing that I can say is that it came with absolutely no instructions. As a result, at first it was very difficult to remove the lens from the adapter. I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to remove it. Other than that, this is a very well made piece of equipment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from could be better for $ Have been using the product for two weeks of shooting reality style action sports, using a Tokina 11-16 and a Nikon 17-55 DX. The adaptor fits tightly but I noticed today shooting in bright sunlight that there was a light leak coming from the lens release mechanism. had to put a piece of gaff tape over. Also the aperature ring needs to be screwed down between adjustments and this makes it difficult to change f stop on the fly. Would be better if ring had more friction and didn't need to be locked down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very smooth i paid the extra money because i was told this adapter is very durable, i am using it with a sony fs700 i have three nikon prime i use with this adapter a 50mm 1.4, a 135mm 2.8 and a 190mm 2.8. these lenses work great and the image is beautiful. So far no issue with the adapter. the packaging was weird, the adapter came wrap in plastic, no box and no pouch.
