The lens I have on the world is one of welcoming. You know how people yearn to be part of something, and always feel a bit too late or not invited at all? Weren’t in Paris in the 1920s, weren’t at Andy Warhol’s Factory, and on and on. But great unsung moments and people are alive today; we just don’t always see them that way. When I am photographing I feel connected and in love with existence, and I want my photos to show the world this way. I want people to feel welcomed to the party, like the moment didn’t pass you by, like you are in the right place at the right time. Photography is my way to fall in love with the world.
