Austrian storage device maker Angelbird has released a trio of high-performance, high-capacity SDXC cards to meet the ever-growing data demand of today's creatives—especially those shooting very high-resolution videos. The newly released cards include the Angelbird 1TB AV Pro MK2 V60 UHS-II SDXC memory card, 512GB AV Pro MK2 V60 UHS-II SDXC memory card, and the 512GB AV Pro MK2 V90 UHS-II SDXC memory card.

The pair of V60 memory cards (1TB and 512GB) clock fast read speeds of 260 MB/s and sustained write speeds of 140 MB/s (minimum 60 MB/s) to record Full HD, 3D, and 4K video, as well as stills, and are the perfect SD cards for time-lapse photography.

The 1TB V90 card turns the V60 specs up a notch with even faster speeds. The card's sustained read speed is 290 MB/s and the sustained write speed is 260 MB/s (minimum 90 MB/s), so it can handle the pedestrian Full HD and 3D video, plus 4K+ RAW video production.

Angelbird’s Stable Stream Sustained Speed Performance technology, standard in the V60 and V90 cards, allows optimized lossless (drop-free) recording performance throughout the entire capacity of the card—for your whole recording session, if needed, with high minimum write speeds. The cards are robust and ready to work flawlessly in tough field conditions with an operating temperature range of -13°F to 185°F. The cards are moisture, shock, and dust resistant, as well as X-ray and magnetic proof. These cards are engineered from the inside out with consideration for real-world work environments making them reliable and ideal options for travel and documentary work.

Another notable feature of these SDXC cards is Angelbird’s card design. Raise your hand if your memory card’s looks are important to you. Also raise your hand if the sticker(s) on your current memory cards are annoyingly peeling off and you worry they will get jammed in your dual card slots when the stickers let go. Well, Angelbird has you covered—the cards are minimalist and attractive and look great in and outside of your camera—the etched serial number and Sticker-Free design keep the cards looking sleek.

Speaking of looking great, Angelbird makes some of the best-looking card readers in the business and, when combined with the Angelbird SD Dual Card Reader, can support up to 10 GB/s of data transfer with a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 host system that is also physically compatible with any Thunderbolt™ 3/4 cable—if ever you are in a pinch or misplaced the original cable, this could come in handy.
